The Role:
We're looking for a dynamic and motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing team in Singapore. As a BDR, you will play a key role in driving our growth by generating leads, nurturing relationships, and building a strong sales pipeline for our Asia-Pacific region. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is eager to kickstart their career in tech sales and help Placements.io expand in new markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, qualify, and generate new business opportunities through inbound and outbound prospecting
- Research potential customers, develop outreach strategies, and create targeted campaigns to engage prospects
- Work closely with the sales team to build a robust pipeline and ensure smooth handoffs of qualified leads
- Maintain accurate records of leads, activities, and opportunities in our CRM system (Salesforce)
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to execute campaigns and refine outreach approaches
- Stay informed on industry trends and market conditions to position Placements.io effectively
- Participate in product training to understand our value proposition and communicate it to potential customers
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience in a sales, business development, or customer-facing role, preferably within a SaaS or tech environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to build relationships and identify opportunities
- Highly motivated, self-starter with an eagerness to learn and grow
- Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce is a plus
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Bahasa, Thai, Korean,) is a plus but not required

Compensation:
Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide.
The expected base salary range for this role in the selected city:
Singapore - $60,000 SGD
The base salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, qualifications, education, work location, and other business and organizational needs.
