The Company:

Placements.io is a rapidly growing software company that provides an innovative revenue management platform for digital publishers. Our platform streamlines the process of managing and optimizing advertising campaigns across multiple channels and devices. The Position:

The Technical Account Manager will be responsible for managing and maintaining relationships with clients, serving as the main point of contact for technical support, and ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service. The Technical Account Manager will also work closely with our product, engineering, and account management teams to ensure that our clients’ needs are being met.

Requirements:

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for enterprise clients, building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Provide technical support to clients, helping them troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Work collaboratively with team members to design solutions that meet client business requirements
  • Manage the data migration and validation process for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition and successful implementation of Placements.io
  • Develop a deep understanding of our product and platform, and share this knowledge and best practices to aid clients in meeting their strategic objectives
  • Work with our product and engineering teams to identify and resolve issues, and to develop new features and functionality based on client needs
  • Monitor client usage and proactively identify areas for optimization and improvement
  • Provide regular updates to clients on product updates and new features
  • Collaborate with the account management team to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to meet client business needs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in technical account management or a similar role
  • Eagerness to contribute to overall team expertise, standards, methodologies and practices
  • Strong technical skills, with experience working with APIs and data integrations
  • Attention to detail and organization
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Comfortable establishing credibility with key client end users, decision makers, and influencers
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, yet also work independently to solve complex problems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal/written communication and extraordinary listening skills
  • Experience in the ad tech industry is a plus

This is a hybrid role, in office 3 days a week. We are open to candidates in our NYC, Seattle or Denver offices.
