We are looking for an outgoing and tech-savvy Sales Engineer to help solve complex problems for our clients. The primary task of the Sales Engineer is to succinctly explain our products and services to customers, identify customer pain points and challenges and develop creative solutions through the use of our technology. This is a highly visible position that will play a critical role in ensuring success for our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain extensive knowledge of the Advisr platform and services
  • Prepare and develop technical presentations to explain our company's products or services to customers
  • Create and build out custom demo environments for key prospects
  • Conduct needs analyses and system requirements discussions with our customers and support teams
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide thoughtful solutions
  • Help eliminate bottlenecks by working cross functionally (Sales, Support, Product Management, Engineering) in order to get deals across the line
  • Research, develop and modify products to meet customers' technical requirements and needs
  • Train members of the customer-facing team on the technical aspects of our products and services

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA/BS in engineering, computer science, marketing, business administration, or related field
  • 6+ years experience in the sales and technology field
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills
  • Ability to quickly comprehend and explain complex engineering concepts in simple, effective terms to non-technical customers
  • Ability to describe problems succinctly and think through and develop creative solutions
  • Ability to offer additional solutions and integrations in response to prospect/existing customer requirements
  • Advanced problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Good leadership and team working skills; ability to garner cross-functional consensus
